School Board To Discuss Marathon Athletic Field Renovation at July 18th Meeting

WHAT: The School Board plans to meet for a workshop and regular meeting. The early meeting begins with a workshop related to the Marathon High School athletic field renovation. During the regular meeting, scheduled immediately after the workshop, the Board will hear a detailed report about school grades as a follow up to the overview report from last board meeting. The district’s finance experts will report on the 2017-2018 school year budget. The Operations team will report on construction projects happening across the district.
Action Items on the agenda include, the authorization for the Executive Director of Finance and Performance Jim Drake to advertise the notice of the Board’s intent to adopt a tentative budget and millage rates for next school year, and the acceptance of a change order for Gerald Adams Elementary School from AJAX Building.
