KWAHS Pirate and Fossil ArtCamps

Sand sculptor Marianne van den Broek and assistant instructor Lilly Magidson, second and third from left, led Key West Art & Historical Society Fossil Camp students Parker Curry (10), Maddie Bock (12), Jaden Most (11), Elsie Warwick (10), and Taylor Gibson (9) in a Fossil Camp adventure at Fort East Martello, June 12-16, during which the group created and buried a clay triceratops skull and partial skeleton. Students attending the June 19-23 Sand Sculpting Camp will have the opportunity to discover and excavate the hidden remains.  For more information on KWAHS summer ArtCamp! and TeenCamp sessions, visit For teen workshop scholarship inquiries, call Adele Williams at 305-295-6616, extension 115.
